Sport and fitness has been a passion of mine for many years. As a child, all I wanted to do was play football and one day become a professional footballer. After soon realising I wasn’t going to make it as a pro in my mid-teens, I struggled to contemplate a career where I couldn’t be involved somehow in sport and fitness.
At this point, I researched the health and fitness industry and this is where my passion for fitness reached a new level. I fell in love with the idea of training other people and to help them to become the best versions of themselves.
By the age of 18 I had completed a two year BTEC National Diploma in Sports Development & Fitness, which improved my knowledge of coaching and the fitness industry.
This was followed by graduating with a 2:1 in a Bsc (Hons) Sports Studies degree and a Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training, which taught me the science behind exercise and coaching and allows me to pass knowledge on to my clients so that they can get the most out of their sessions.
On a personal level I still love playing sport, particularly football and golf, and am also a black belt in Choi-Kwang Do (a form of Martial Arts). I also manage and coach an under 10’s football team as a qualified football coach.
